Chocolate Chip Cookies - Kathryn Siddoway
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups flour
- chocolate chips.

Instructions:
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips. Scoop and bake at 350°F until golden brown.


Refrigerator Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cups oats.

Instructions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla, water. Add dry ingredients and oats. Chill dough. Shape into balls and flatten. Bake at 375°F for 8–10 minutes.


Oreo Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 chocolate cake mixes
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup shortening.
Filling:
1 pkg cream cheese
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla.

Instructions:
Mix cookies, bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes. Mix filling. Let cookies cool, spread filling, and sandwich together.


Snickerdoodles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt. Roll in: 2 tbsp sugar + 2 tsp cinnamon.

Instructions:
Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs. Mix dry ingredients. Shape into balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar mix. Bake at 400°F for 8–10 minutes.


Oatmeal Cookies - Jan Barnes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cups oats.

Instructions:
Cream together shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients and oats. Drop onto sheet and bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes.


Ginger Snaps - Suzanne Siddoway
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp ginger.

Instructions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and egg. Mix dry ingredients. Roll into balls, dip in sugar. Bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes.


No Bake Cookies - Jan Barnes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups oats.

Instructions:
Boil sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla, and oats. Drop onto wax paper.


Peanut Butter Cookies - Kathryn Siddoway
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour.

Instructions:
Cream margarine, shortening, and sugars. Add peanut butter, egg, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Shape, flatten with fork, bake at 375°F.


Chocolate Cake - Donna Siddoway
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1.75 cups flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1.5 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup boiling water.

Instructions:
Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil, vanilla. Mix well. Stir in boiling water last. Batter will be thin. Pour into pans and bake at 350°F for 30–35 mins.


Yellow Cake - Donna Siddoway
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2.5 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla.

Instructions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Alternate dry ingredients and milk. Stir in vanilla. Bake at 350°F in greased pans for 25–30 mins.


Texas Sheet Cake - Suzanne Siddoway
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 4 tbsp cocoa
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs.

Instructions:
Boil butter, shortening, cocoa, and water. Pour over flour and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Bake in greased sheet pan at 350°F for 20–25 minutes. Frost while warm.


Pineapple Cake - Jan Barnes
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1 can crushed pineapple (undrained).

Instructions:
Mix ingredients and bake at 350°F for 30–40 mins. Frosting: 1 pkg cream cheese, 1/2 stick butter, 1 tsp vanilla, 1.5 cups powdered sugar.


Banana Cake - Donna Siddoway
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup mashed bananas.

Instructions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in buttermilk. Add flour and salt. Fold in mashed bananas. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.


Carrot Cake
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups grated carrots
- 1 cup chopped nuts.
Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
- 1 pkg cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 lb powdered sugar.

Instructions:
Mix cake ingredients, pour into pans, bake at 350°F for 30–35 mins. Cool and frost.


Better Than Sex Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 jar caramel
- 1 tub Cool Whip
- 3 Skor bars.

Instructions:
Bake cake, poke holes. Pour on sweetened milk and caramel. Cool, top with Cool Whip and crushed Skor bars.


Ice Box Cake
Ingredients:
- 2 boxes graham crackers
- 1 pkg vanilla instant pudding
- 3 cups milk
- 1 tub Cool Whip
- 1 tub chocolate frosting.

Instructions:
Line pan with grahams. Mix pudding, milk, and Cool Whip. Layer pudding and grahams, ending with grahams. Frost and chill overnight.
